Who's Next, Identified

Who's Next, Identified

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Who's Next, Identified

sidewalk surfin'

pick 'em truck

layin' them down

bike paths widened

flattened with smoldering skin

as bandage

the eclipse has finally hit us

there is no moon over the city tonight

just reckless rubber

with portal purpose meeting

frenzied faces

scurrying for cover

in parallel streets

Paris re-happens

London re-happens

life re-happens

death re-happens

blame it on the pit bull

who lay in the previous doghouse

take that theory for a walk

it's a blame game of satisfaction

for the smiling, thumbs-up devil in disguise

semi-gravity lowers the boom again

and the sound is heard

ever closer

ever closer

ever closer.

Great poem j. encapsulating the urban death and the disregard of humanity, society , a bleak, black future shining on, on the horizon, powerful and strong, as all good poets should be,

Bombs re-happen again as the eclipse of your sick verbiage and references rips through me... As always, again, and forever possibly... You teach me new ways to string thought in a congruent flow-landscape... Brilliant stuff...

Of course...
i can't imagine .. the pain and suffering is horrible .. the futility of "blaming" rings loud and clear in between your lines, jacob. it is a very dangerous world and we all have to be aware and responsive .. a terrible, terrible day for victims, families and America when these kinds of things occur.. :((

Hello old friend.
I've missed you.
A person who greatly intrigued me passed away in Manhattan. He went by the name Kantbot. In a video, where I first discovered him, he was going on about German Idealism in relation to politics. I didn't follow his connection, but I'm poised to investigate further. I hope he rests in peace.

I really enjoyed this piece, it reminded me of the past feelings I've had reading your work. Thus, a feeling or sense that I'm reading something of high value that's been purified or has been distilled in the perfect amount.

thank you,
Dalton

Yes, it re-happens and the eve of destruction looms. When will it all end? Will we ever feel safe? Very scary world we live in now. Questions are all we have and the answers seem questionable at best! The emotions come through loud and clear. Lydi**

and what I wonder is ..... at what point in these pathway bombers lives did everything start to fall apart. I mean, I am a big believer of the human race beginning and ending in love, but what has happened to these cirb mounters ..... have they been brainwashed so much they no longer see straight Puppets - all of them puppets - life should never have to be spent looking over your shoulder for trouble.

Poignant words Jacob ... a lot of questions that need answering before its all really too late X

When I think of Hilter & Stalin, a huge scale of human devastation cast upon innocence, I just think they came back and are trying out the terror on a smaller scale just so they can hang around longer.

What is next?

It saddens me greatly that there should ever be a need for words such as these, but since there is clearly such a need, I am truly glad that you jacob undertook to write them. Therefore, on behalf of all decent folk everywhere, I thank you....N

A brutal subject to deal with because there is no easy answer to the question. Hard to deal with people who do not seek an ending, but only a continuation of mayhem. All in the name of God...or Allah...or Buddha... or whatever name the religion knows him by.
It has gone on for centuries and I'm afraid there are centuries of this to come.
Seems the only thing we tolerate nowadays is intolerance.
