snow blind friendsA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
on
ancient television sets, delinquent
heroes just rumble fish seeing themselves in
glass houses fighting their own
reflections
caught between barriers looking at others in
color while their own black
and white existence degenerates to a broken
pedestal,
propaganda eyes view
them through shade drawn windows eclipsed versions of
sainthood
Martyrs in the
motorcycle minds of engine revving
followers.
