A lovely, clever write J, yes we all strive for that classic, bending the rules, stretching the imagination of the reader, to try something different only to find if it fails there are no reviews lol, but it was fun at the time and at worst for me I find, I only lose two maybe up to four readers/reviewers per year on my writes.

I'm kinda flattered and somewhat honored that you've invested some of your very valuable time to write a painfully accurate poem about me.
Gratified, that you've correctly spelled "misspell"--a word commonly "mispelled."
As for the actual last word, "it," that was also handled quite nicely.
"idiot poet" consists of many insightful metaphors, stinging lines and clever turns-of-phrase: truly outstanding work!

Oh dear -- the old age blues! The secret is to just carry on and you will surprise yourself. I loved this fictitious poem. I think I will print it off and hang it above my bed.
We all feel unimpressed with ourselves, once in awhile. If our work made us happy all the time, we would not improve. That's the feeling your poem has invoked in me.
To be content with yourself when the bell tolls, a lifetime challenge. A challenge of never being content. I enjoyed your poem. Thanks for sharing.
