never ending storyA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertonever ending story
i'm
still traveling there your grizzled face in my mind's rest stop silver mass of steel
wool and unshaven resistance
age finally subdued you even as your eyes raged against its assail
now i am photo shop resurrections of clean shaven smiles stern resolutions gentle hands on my
shoulders
and gruff highways of
love like an enchanted
ogre's soft core,
i will always travel in
your fairy tale and long for you tell me
you again and again and
again.
