bursting into old flamesA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
we
couldn't keep our hands off each other but the tongue lashings
reddened the palms of a fine tuned love that imploded into a
fiery dream an upturned moment once balanced, flew into rage hearts throbbing with
painful bruises
the passion superseded long enough, and the scars still sore smile once in awhile when chance meetings find a peace
we couldn't secure then.
