clinging to a bright cloud
A Poem by
jacob erin-cilberto
clinging to a bright cloud
breeze
me with your kisses
knock me over with your
scent
i am a willow leaning
toward your love
rooted in the fervor of
you
growing toward a wisp of
intriguing beauty
never aging
even as i grow weary
and sway,
my heart stands firm
in your memory.

Some of the most beautiful words clad with stillness and love are on this site, and this poem of yours makes me think of how things meet an ending, inevitably and yet some things are eternal, and love is one, no matter how many wars are being fought in this temporary world. Thank you Jacob, thank you so much. Take care, always.

All humans must have an addiction for moments that leave a person in awe. Love is the strongest of them all

No problem , thanks for your writing j.
As beautifully graceful as a willow blowing in a soft breeze! Nice to balance out the ugly public discourse with an escape to gentle thoughts (((HUGS)))

Soft and tender romance in this one. Sweet remembrances. A beautiful pairing of nature and love. Lydi**

oh the willow ... :) i agree with Nightingale about the "breeze me..." line ... i am sitting under a ceiling vent that at this moment is breezing my shoulders and cheek ... all i had to add is kisses and let myself sway as a willow ;) i had some good fun reading this one jacob .. its quite romantic and subtly sensuous

'my heart stands firm
in your memory.'
I think it's the memories which hold us together more often than the person themselves...
Love the clinging to a bright cloud feeling...

You're welcome, Jacob. A pleasure always 😊
Has a Native-American flavor.
Literally, heartfelt.
