An artist on stage perhaps? You listen to the music, create a fantasy looking at her eyes, her face....and the musical fantasy takes you away. Lovely, Jacob. Lydi**
i thought of that song right away ...so many of our artists lost at sea, earth and air ... i am thinking of those in the times and genre that i listened to over and over ..and still do ..and in all cases the biggest tragedy is the music they should still be writing and singing and playing ... when youth dies it makes absolutely no sense ...especially today when 100 years old is more and more common (three at the same time in just my mother's family) :( i think that keeping to yourself any certain artist creates more reverence and respect somehow ... "your eyes as one" captivating to me ... invites spirituality for me ... the strings and blond strands is intimate and romantic ... lots of stuff in a little poem sir!

awwww this made me smile, the ending especially. could throw that in any romance movie/novel and would become a classic. whatever it is that is tickling your fancy, it is inspiring lovely work. love this one Jacob.
Another one for stimulating the grey cells. It struck me as a tribute to a singer killed in an air crash but that was a s far as I got. As always 'on point' for a good read Jacob.

You apparently had (or have) a beautiful, statuesque, fiery blond, guitar-playing, Cyclops lover.
That's certainly a hell of a lot "More than wings"--even the angelic variety!
Stunning, though somewhat mysterious, bit of work, Jacob.
