Such an evocative piece. I for one feel lost sometimes and penance has a way of showing the way. Haiku is such a great form for fitting a lot of mystery into seventeen (or so) syllables. Fabulous.

I do like this Jacob but am still trying to find the meaning I'm sure it will come as I read it more at first I thought it was about a man searching for God the stars were blinding him so he used a flashlight but I think I'm on wrong track maybe one day when time is right enlighten me thanks for the poem it made me think Jacob
