the table, they glare,
across the aisle,
separation is whole an entity acting in
parts
the menu ignored eyes off the prize
dessert off in the
distance the server hesitant to
approach
humanity depends these crotchety old werewolf's wear them,
but leave us nothing but
accidents hope ripped from our
hearts tears, and starved for
attention...
