Two North? A entertaining write. I wanted to read and know more. Few times in a life. We find our proper place. Thank you Jacob for sharing the amazing poetry.

Always a pleasure to read your work and you are welcome Jacob.
Consistent mixing of words forming illuminating voice, this is the Erin-cilberto I know, what a treasure to my eyes of ancient worlds and modern times.
what good a compass when giving in to the "deep" .. :) floating there one can become complacent tho ...demons may fly at you from any direction ;)
love the intriguing closing line ... going North sounds too cold for me ..even with my love to keep me warm :)

Your poetry always seems to me a canvas. You paint in muted colors that are relatable by everyone on some level, but there's always a splash of brightness along the periphery. I love the 'two North' ending. Very creative!
I can't help but wonder. Was it supposed to be true north?
This with a longing.
Looking at my own compass.

The urgency of a new relationship....when all seems possible. Getting lost in the aura of another....a glorious feeling, but ofttimes one that leads to danger. "two north"....clever! Lydi**
