Subconsciously, I understand this piece, completely, and eagerly accept its quiet loveliness. Unfortunately, my subconscious is typically inarticulate, so I'm unable to tell you why.

I not only love this one, but I feel like I am the old pond! *wink! wink!* I love the correlation between "smooth glass mirror" and "rippled pond surface" -- the way it prompts ideas & comparisons to flow in the reader's mind (((HUGS)))
