Dizzy Over you, Poetically speaking

Dizzy Over you, Poetically speaking

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Dizzy Over you, Poetically speaking

my words are compost

but something grows from them,

the soiled emotions emoting in the sun

cheerful catastrophes

accomplished leanings of flowered momentum

drawn from buried fractures

the heart is a certain calligraphy in itself

and i move with curling moments of love

Dramamine elations and deflations

i feel a garden's soul

in my intent

and those rains that burn

can in turn

open blooms unexpected

that might become perennial

and suture old wounds.

Dug this immensely... "The heart is a certain calligraphy in itself"... This gained tremendous momentum as I read, and upon more exploration, I found deep roots laced with truth... This was fantastic, indeed something grows from your words... Brilliantly penned...

yes...out of pain comes life! i believe that pain is the biggest river in our universe ..nothing comes close to it .. your metaphors as always are spot on and intriguing ... first verse especially "home grown" and gritty ;) interesting choice of drug sir! most i think prefer something more numbing :)

good things grow from dung

especially things we don't expect

what cannot be healed from growth?

my pleasure.. :)
"my words are compost"

This compelling line says so much! compost- any gardener's gold! Words are indeed compost- it is perfect metaphor for the expression of emotions, the healing of old wounds, poetry!

Waiting for happier times to come....
I like your use of metaphors in each of your pieces.

You're welcome, Jacob. A pleasure 😊
your words aren't compost. I like curling moments of love. Is a gardens soul really full? It would feel that way to me, all that variation. Why not use expected instead of perennial? Good to hear from you my friend.
