love's rematchA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertolove's rematch
salty
composure Hedonistic compunction love thrown over a
shoulder but the luck is just dry
tears the umbrella punctured
with stinging emotion
a heart flailing at
clouds with ineffective fists clenched dreams lose the
fight once broken, there is no
second-ten count the fight is called
before it starts.
