"fossilized feelings
the bones of trust
yearn for the skin to tingle one more time"
That feeling of love and desires really keep us wanting more, never losing hope even though disappointed at times. The last lines sum it all very well.

It was a pleasure reading. I will be reading more of your works 😊
Jacob I want so much to return some of the attention and kind words you've given to me but, I have to be honest...I don't understand your poetry and I'm thinking it's my inability not your fault in any way. The proof that It's my lack of understanding is the huge (compared to my) amount of hits and the comprehensive comments that you receive. Everybody else gets you and what you write which makes me feel a bit out of step with the times. Maybe it's an age thing as I'm very senior to most on this site but the reads and the understanding comments tell me that you are indeed one of the premier poets on this site. That's the reason you seldom see reviews from me on your poetry. While I know you're a top notch poet, your poetry goes right over this ol' grey head, so while I'm unable to review your poetry I do appreciate your reviewing mine. Maybe mine is just so simple. You're a very good reviewer since (unlike) me you seem to be able to understand everyone's poetry. I wish I had your ability. Sincerely David O

thank you, David for your kind comments..
There must come a time in life when you think to yourself. This could be the one. This should be the one. Actually, this has to be the one. Though graveyards do swing at night.
There is always hope for romance. Yes, love can be frustrating and it can cause great pain. Still, we yearn for it. No one knows which face in the crowd will spark something within. The idea of skeletons in a graveyard reaching for each other....wow! Unique concept here. Lydi**
