Okay, Jacob, all I can say is that this is a tragically lovely piece that speaks a message to me that is totally different than the reviews I have read below ... So, if I make a fool out of myself in trying to interpret your message, please pardon me and enjoy a good laugh ... The title says it all as ones mind can almost envision the panic and fear stricken faces, hearing the hearts pounding to the urgency of an adrenaline rush that comes to an end in a horrendous concussion of metal crunching upon metal with bones and organs crushed within terrified bodies, all within a matter of seconds to leave only the quiet sound of a radiator's hissing and a tire slowing in its spinning to come to a stop as though it were an ensign announcing the end of a heart's beating ...
Life can deal us some harsh blows ... We never know when our number may be up ...
But, in the back of our minds, we live in fear that something as life shattering as what I believe I saw and described above may happen to someone we love, a wife, a daughter, a son, or a grandchild, gone in an instant of an accident that renders "miles of life suddenly silenced" with so few miles on their life's odometer, yet, for them it is over ...
I have been wrong before, so if I misread this piece, chalk it up to old age senility and always was stupid syndrome ... LOL!
A beautiful but heartbreaking piece of writing ... Scares the hell out of me to even think about such a possibility ...

These past few years I have so many interruptions in 'life', that my writing and review has been at the very bottom of my list. You have always been so kind to me and I just want to let you know how much I appreciate you :)
