when you told me you loved me

i had no idea your source

was "fake news"

that i was yesterday’s headlines

 

my heart wire tapped

our emotional wires

crossed,

 

creating singed sentiment

but no electricity.

lol I think of Trump, jacob, in the news here of tapping which has become somewhat boring in aussie and overplayed while he corrects the nation of his as just installments but there is no charge in his direction lol.

oh Lord have mercy on me ...my first very real love expressed after hours of anguish ... denied .. so we were "friends" ... i went roaming and received a letter from her stating her love and she was coming to me .. i danced and sang until the day she arrived ... but oh my ... it was a feint to the right and then she went left .. leaving me a wreck on the curb .. oh well .. she went back to our home town and married one of my best friends .. they are happy ..it was many years ago .. so i am happy and we are all friends ;} great poem ..as you can tell i relate ..especially smart to use current political commentary language in a non-political poem .. very refreshing .. makes my day sir!
