from the womb of acknowledgementA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertofrom the womb of acknowledgement
form together like spliced bodies
making love, making lines
making intimate themes
and rhymes
abed in abetting
among
sheets of linen
of linear lines
of belief
of structure
procreating in response to sounds
of life
heart beats
heartbeats
reproducing poems
from infinite kisses of the keys
it's never just a flirtation
but an affiliation
with an excitation
reconciliation
with a muse
we just can't refuse---
