of linear lines

of belief

of structure

procreating in response to sounds

of life

heart beats

heartbeats

reproducing poems

from infinite kisses of the keys

it's never just a flirtation

but an affiliation

with an excitation

reconciliation

with a muse

this is a well-done metaphor: lovemaking and writing are conjoined without being crass

i also like how this poem is involved enough to include alliterations without seeming pretentious - this is a sign of a legitimately talented wordsmith

I know its unnatural, but i always found the word ''womb'' macabre, which couldn't be more far from the truth since its the cradle of life. Exquisite poem Jacob.

At times writing requires little effort as in placid fornication. The flow of words simply comes and form and structure become our creation, a born poem or piece of prose. And many of us are so compelled to reap satisfaction this way. A sort of phoneme masturbation. Perhaps a droll account of your feelings about writing Jacob?
