Captain's Log

Captain's Log

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Captain's Log

bar none,

your eyes float me into

straits of warm channels

networks of intricate phantasm

understandings of my own heart

your eyes float me into

ceilings of infinite words

i write until my fingers fall

off into chasms...

typing eccentric flutters

bar none

straits of warm channels

empty into dreams

with you my vessel

understandings of my own heart

which never really did belong to me

how could they when

ceilings of infinite words

i write until my fingers fall

you own.

The muse again....she owns your words, your fingers, your thoughts. And yet, this seems to be a poem about unrequited love too. Hmmm....must think about this one. Lydi**

this leave's me wondering who is the captain for it's evident that there is a heart here that is dancing to the beat of another and sailing along as the piper plays her tune

Thought this might be about Captain Kirk's log--which, apparently, found a home in many a lovely female crew-member's "fire place."
Elegant piece!

A write full of thoughts on many multi layers, commanding, dictating and then there are thoughts not of your own but dictated to by their incoming influences of other thoughts invading.I made it more complicated lol

your love is the art of the write because that is where you are in command. it allows you to flow as you are. it takes you away to wherever you want to go. to express what lies within you. "Beam me up now Scottie."

that feeling when you just float into a dream and words just flow and you can't stop your hands from writing. Nice piece. Keep up! :)
