Crow's NestA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
long
times, are by-lines of scattered stories of distant hearts and years marked mostly by isolation love's incubation
waiting to be born again into each other's womb tears create
buoyancy for emotions, which become shipwrecked
fantasies
and memories become castaways praying to see that
face, those eyes, touch that skin absorb the warmth
which now reminds of long times not spent together
just by-lines and deadlines of scattered stories of distant hearts.
