heavy machinery

heavy machinery

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

heavy machinery

crush my expression

with your bulldozer words,

there will be a complete flattening of ego

the remnants of the written building

containing my heart

will be obliterated

your deconstruction of me,

complete

and my blueprint

for new lodging

will lie on an otherwise deserted desk

gathering delicious dust

as you dine on what's left of me.

This is like watching a stunning older brick school... Somehow they are always junior highs... That get torn down in a neighbor.
I think we all need to protest.

Consumed and devoured, left nothing to spare. Your words echo what many feel, locked away in the silence of their aching hearts. Strong stuff my friend, really like this sort of poetry.

Whew, this is a totally different way of expressing how one feels in a failing relationship. You expressed this differently but I really like this write. Valentine

There are people in this world whose goal it is to undermine others for their own ego building. They are either oblivious, or enjoy it -- either way, their words are not worth a person's time and energy.
