thank you for your words, Kathie.

Pleased to have catched this one. Like it. It has all the charm of the Liverpool poets, or a touch of Hugo Williams. Excellent.

Too true, j. Love sends out a postcard but there is no reply.

yes, just like the Beatles sang..."No Reply"
thank you, Ted.

OH MY....how brilliant this is, Jacob! True love never really leaves the heart. No matter how nasty a break up might be, there is always that fading bit of love...does it ever really leave? I don't think so. Fantastic! Lydi**

There is nothing worse than a love marked 'Return to sender'!

As always, very well written and full of thought and reason. Nice work, Jacob.

thank you for your kind words, Doodley.

I know an old Tagalog song here entitled "Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko" (Even When My Hair Turned White) that is an all-time favorite because of its great message of a lifetime love.
Isn't it touching when someone tells you that his/her heart won't function for anyone but for you until its last beat? That happens in true love

.Such depth composed in a few lines.. gives me hope
that perhaps there's a replacement, like a fluidwriter pen overflowing and never ending..
