That was a black and white opera a lot of us were privy to, as well as Ruby's second act. A tragedy for all concerned. Good write, j.

wow! thought provoking to the max for me! Camelot, Broadway and Edith Head oh my!!! so somber in all the color of it ... the tragedy of your "little prince" is profound ..even more so than the towers for me .. tho i remember both with much too much vividness .. i can not help but wonder what you ate before bedtime jacob :))

yes, for me too, E. too much vividness...i hear you.
I want to attend the opera ..... thats all i could think of lately
I guess i gather from this piece
Some scenes seem to have so much within such a short period of time
And all that remains is a hint of elegance luring the air .... will there be more
one wonders
like a good work of art
You get into that black car
thinking
i could have stayed more
I want more
i could be far off
but those are my thoughts on this piece

I remember what I was doing on that day. They took Bonanza off the TV. I was a child but I knew something momentous that would change my life also across this side of the water. We have no flawed heroes any more we just have flaws on both side of the pond and in fact everywhere. Wonderfully evocative Jacob.
I never did get my sweeties from the corner shop.
