November 22, again--the red and pink fashion trendA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertoNovember 22, again--the
red and pink fashion trend
years
of questions, some kind of sordid
anniversary explosions in the back
seat of history pages torn apart by
rapid bullets of lies the cover ups won't keep
us warm as he gets colder,
his bones lie awake at
night in a dark coffin, wishing they would solve
his death so he could finally rest
but the rest is full of
doubt no one pulled the
trigger on the truth they all just let the
gun sit smoking and the stain on the
skirt sink in deeper...
