November 22, again--the red and pink fashion trend

years of questions,

some kind of sordid anniversary

explosions in the back seat of history

pages torn apart by rapid bullets of lies

the cover ups won't keep us warm

as he gets colder,

his bones lie awake at night

in a dark coffin,

wishing they would solve his death

so he could finally rest

but the rest is full of doubt

no one pulled the trigger on the truth

they all just let the gun sit smoking

and the stain on the skirt sink in deeper...

Amen.
In the United States of America, on November 22, 1963, a murderous coup was successfully accomplished--by parties still unknown.
Yes, Jacob, the stain widens and grows deeper.

Funny how so many of us still wonder who, what why and how many got away with it. Valentine

i lean in that direction also....thank you for your review, andrew.
My mother and father still talks about it sometimes. It saddened them greatly. A true breath of fresh air is so rare in this world.

So many questions we'll never know the answers to. Is it possible Oswald acted alone? Was he that good a shot? He was a marine, as was Charles Whitman. The shot from the grassy knoll made sense. JFK R.I.P.
Good write, j.

The echoes of that are still rebounding and will rebound from wordwide shores for ever. Still we mourn outside our boundaries. This is true universalism and what we should remember.

John Fitzgeralds death was like the second 'shot heard around the world'.
Did it mark the apogee of US power.
Malcolm X said -
A revolution is bloody, but America is in a unique position. She's the only country in history in a position actually to become involved in a bloodless revolution.

Brilliant Jacob.
