It's in the air, isn't it Jacob. This election like no other we've known has frightened people into unease. Strangers are angry at other strangers. Neighbors refuse to speak simply because of political party affiliations. So the parallel to a coming winter even without a single flake on the ground is so right on....Excellent poetry...dana

When caught in the midst of traumatic times...it's hard to believe there were other times as stressful...as dangerous...or as unsettling. But there were...and so we take each day one at a time...moving forward...doing our best to heal the divide and the anger. Love this piece...you penned it beautifully. I'm breaking out my longjohns, for sure.

It seems there is no room for differences now-a-days. Everyone must think as I think or they are bigoted. In fact, that makes all of us bigots. Where is Tallentyre when most needed. A little tolerance may go a long way right now. Good write
