Isn't that so true. The more education we get in the school of love, the less we expect of others and ourselves. Harsh reality hits us and we realise we won't get what we thought.
it's very hard to get ov'r on past or movin' back to same time once we're already passed throu'... cause may be, it's so much true to say that... past's nothin' more than an illusion that no longer exists in reality but oft. stays awoken in mind, which further & farther wakes us all up overnight... for nothing. however, it's worth READING than understanding. the more u tryna understand past, the more u find urself more lost within. so i believe, it's okay to have higher education just to overcome what's already overwhelmed by us all: illusive expectations only existed in mind.
perhaps, with education, wisdom comes. but with wisdom, it's no lie 2 say, the age also goes. and it becomes too late even to LIVE what's wasted in EXPECTATIONs: LIFE.
very nice imagery here.
also, as long as u don't have expectations, u r free from hurt. once u r bewitched with expectations (of nothing), u start loosin urself to something that belongs to doom. so, it's must 2 attain higher education to live highly loyal life but with less or null expectations of something or "someone".
Can we get back to that feeling...the feeling of young love when everything was fresh and new? Cynicism sets in after a lot of pain. While it is possible to jump over it or walk around it, the heart IS damaged in some small way and, as Cat Stevens sang way back when, "The first cut is the deepest." The skin we once loved to touch is rosier in memory anyway....yup, I am convinced of that. Wonderful write, Jacob. Lydi**
