the other periodic table

the other periodic table

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

the other periodic table

finesse my heart

with your subtle intrusions

i am gladly violated by your smile

and deft touch

the physical beat accelerates

the emotional beat makes me move

in your direction

the rhythm of need

entwined with the migration of want

and we dance purposefully

in a circle of silent words

felt rather than spoken

a token of a chemistry that finds its own steps

without formula

just forms colliding.

An intensely passionate, pheromone fuelled coming together of two hearts that melt naturally into each other's persona to pleasing and pleasurable effect!

Beautifully worded Jacob, a real 'heartmelter' if ever I read one ??

thank you for your kind words, Tom.

"the other periodic table" is a brilliant way to allude to "chemistry" & I can almost feel the ions being drawn together toward completion! *smile* The narrator sounds a little transfixed by this chemistry, possibly without any concern for whatever reaction may be on the horizon! (((HUGS)))

A rhythmic dance is a beauty which gives the bodies a chance to merge together. Really wonderfully written.

I have missed reading you. Never thought of such a description (in a circle of silent words
felt rather than spoken a token of a chemistry that finds its own steps)

'.. The rhythm of need ~ entwined with the migration of want.. ' Certainly a variation of rubbing two sticks together, sir.

Am amazed that two subjects can dance the dance and float to the surface in words... mind you, i rather think the floating's done in rather hot water! Your train of thought, your words, come from a place few can equal in here.. let's say it's intelligence unafraid to show the physical

The subtle rhyme scheme in the 3rd set of stanzas worked well balancing against the other lines. Masterfully done.

You used such fascinating themes, incorporating the chemistry of our brain with our anatomy that it created quite the vividly intoxicating image - one which is very moving. Sometimes there is no need for words. Sometimes our actions speak louder; these intangible things which can mean the whole world and stars.

What a beautiful piece.
