tracksA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
i run
to your scent bloodhound heart focused
gaining ground paws trembling as they
barely touch earth howling at the
inconsiderate moon
as it hides from your
light and keeps me from
finding mine distance again wags its
weary tail
and i lie by a large elm waiting for a breeze to
perfume you back to me so i have purpose again
