How to read this I wonder?
A grand love that ends with a big bang and broken hearts...
The classes do not matter in affairs of the heart, only the truth revealed in the eyes.

in your case Jacob all your poetic writes make it to the next port, the reader/the other poet as we read in awe at your titantic imaginations and so very well written.

ah you are so kind with your words, andrew...thank you!
The play on words is brilliant in this piece, Jacob. It is the dream of every poet that his/her words make it to that port of call once they have set course and left the safe harbour of the imagination.
I envy your ability to have a "Titanic Imagination" (these days, concerning love, mine has shrunk considerably!) . . . which you've expressed so playfully, including many stand-out analogies in the "luxury cruise" vernacular, as the narrator sets his/her hopes a'sail! *smile*
Though this may be written for a particular muse/memory/agony/loss...
It's the on going voyage of( epic) imagination through "stealth and guile" that catches the reader's eye and heart to just hang out and be with you for a while :)
Titanic, another great movie and tragic love story... he painted, but you write her poetry Jacob.. for just for her thoughts for a while... I like the images you create of the voyage and the metaphor of tragedy of love in the Titanic of the poor mans love for a woman he could not really have, only in dreams ...
nothing stealthy or poor about your words Jacob...
