nature's lacesA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
a
countryside of coloration our hearts the scenery golden leaves, the fresh
breath of autumn a bit of passionate mist
hanging over mountains of tree lined emotion,
down a worn path our shoes click in
cadence we blink at the
signs that alert us of future
possibilities
hiking the trail of love backpacks full of
promise we stop for a respite and then kiss our way back to that collateral
cadence
that keeps us walking
hand in hand.
