the purgeA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertothe
purge i'm a
bulimic heart when i dine on love, part of me heaves it
right out of my system
don't want the weight of
a relationship feel safer with thinner
inner feelings goodbye is my favorite
meal
easier to digest and less
embarrassing when i can hide in my
own commode of fear.
