Assembly Required

this contraption,

my heart,

directions were misprinted

something missing,

i had no idea how to put love together,

forgot key steps,

and when it tried to walk on its own

my heart

imploded

forgot to fill out the warranty

now, stuck with a broken self.

Love the playfulness of this tale of woe! I'm certainly relating to this situation . . . I think most people do botch the ole heart routines and end up with a broken one at some point! Nicely true-to-life & relatable!

Well .... someone oughta place a manual with those hearts ..... a self help book ..... just to make every piece work the way it was meant to ...... don't we all hope for that
