Your closing lines made me smile, a sort of witty ending to a rather lost mood. I can relate to your lines, particularly to "i had no idea how to put love together". Sometimes I think you partly write down my life, it's a lovable feeling yet often sad, as well.

That's so true and I am still surprised how often this actually works.
I like this poem. It is a great parody, and it made me feel both light and dark at the same time. Just to be clear that is a good thing, insert big smile here.
As is your wont, the metaphor is tightly drawn from start to finish, well-stitched together and finely built--much more so, sadly, than the hastily-built heart we all seem to come equipped with.
When you give your heart to someone then two things are possible- one, the person gives her heart in return, two, the person returns your heart after it has been broken. The latter situation is more common. Your work is always fascinating and full of emotions.
