Unanimous Decision

Unanimous Decision

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Unanimous Decision

his quivering wings have finally closed

tightly shut---

but his floating persona

lives on in pugilistic flight

the resplendent ring

encircling his memory,

effects a final bout

                     of tears.

A touching tribute for "The Greatest". We all will remember him. His personality was as strong as he was before Parkinson's robbed him of so much. Heartfelt words. Lydi**

A write more deep than usual J, like the final decision could not be waived. I just heard the news on Ali now I know the references made here!

Closing on oneself
It happens
Feels like the soul has decided to find shelter
