I read this and then read it again in reverse. I'm sure I'm not the first, but it was really interesting.
Like knowing what's coming next. But if only in real life we could be more proactive in defending ourselves to hold off the inevitable as much as possible.

i appreciate your reads, backwards and forwards...and your kind words, Ana.
I wonder if the trends are reversible. Finality. The way I read this is someone looking back on all the things in life and feeling a bit of regret. Some missed chances, some decisions we wished we didn't make. Denying the things that are. Trying too hard and living too little.

very insightful review, Raven...thank you for your visit.
i find meaning in my existence now that i am still capable of finding meaning in my life and the world, that is to say before i am too old and just plain dying, when i am certain i am going die from old age - i hope when i am old, i will find more meaning in my life - to have lived meaningfully is an ultimate blessing - nice philosophical write, my friend :) love it :)
After reading this many times and awakening from a computer nap, I somehow came to the finality of thought.
What i think is: That this poem is Geometric related .where the final line is actually a circle
