partly cloudy with a chance of loveA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
a
Frito's morning, crisp air you can take
bites of--- dip into the greening
lawns and blossoming pears
the sun bounces off car
chrome in dancing laughter the shine inside is deep as we inhale the scent
of proclamation
spring is on the table
now perfect white clouds to
snack upon like a ranch dressing in
which to immerse smiles if i partake too much of
this glorious gala
it will leave me no room
for summer's dinner but then, we only live
once so , please pass the
chips and i will warm to
your soft cumulus.
