questions in rhetorical mirrorsA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
would i
be labeled as a casual poet? an accidental poet? finding my way
dangerously delving into the unknown wearing the blinders of
misconception misleading my readers
with uneven rhyme eccentric semantics, sauntering subliminally in sarcastic fusion, i can make you laugh, but there's an edge,
even to the chuckle so buckle your reading
belts
the journey's half the
smile let me take you for
awhile on that acrobatic
highway of confusion
i am sure by the
end, when you put the reading
material back in the rack, put your seats back in the upright position
you'll figure out what i
am and maybe a bit more
than that
who you are...
