the violin playing in her eyes

the violin playing in her eyes

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

the violin playing in her eyes

recluse spider bite

wound, similar to your love

deadly to the heart

Violins (their inescapable melancholic sound) and spiders in one toxic bite, interminably stinging. So succinct but packs a punch.

This is a really interesting analogy, pondering over it, it discloses a new sphere of love, it indeed hurts like a poisonous spider bite, toxic for years when it ruins you. Especially with your title, it's got this tinge of terror and melancholy at same time, with maddened violins playing in the background. It's a really interesting and refreshing read! Thank you for this!

Love is like a spider that bites the very sensitive part of us. When we are being abused, it is not love anymore...so it's time to walk away.

Sometimes the smallest group of words can be larger than life -- such is this, a poem, straight to the heart.

When love is fatal, it is not true love and certainly not worth it. I liked the title of this one. Some people are always complaining and make you think they are helpless....don't trust that violin. Lydi**
