Could this be 'a teachers' strike?' I believe that (most) teachers are underpaid for their work, considering the work they have to do at home AND actually teaching. I tip my hat to all teachers, and to you jacob for this great senryu giving ME more opportunity to learn. take care...dan

Colleges have lost the Freedom of Speech within and outside of the halls of academia.
...and THAT is truly the price of Wisdom - its loss.

our school, Logan...55 layoffs set for May 31...decision yesterday...and the board claims no respons.. read moreour school, Logan...55 layoffs set for May 31...decision yesterday...and the board claims no responsibility...which is so untrue..they blame the state budget...and yes that is partially to blame but so is mismanagement of funds...and what about the wisdom...35 full time faculty, gone...departments torn to shreds...and now a civil war between term faculty and full time started because of all of this...very very sad, Chris....just devastating. yes, at what price?
