jacob, this was obviously (?) written with tongue firmly planted in cheek. Now, a novice poet could read this and think, "Hmmm...I should write senryu, they're so easy!" But I know for a fact that they are not easy at all. At least I find them difficult. I have ideas all the time, but they leave my scatter-shot thoughts before I can jot them down. And when I sit down and actually TRY to write one I hear crickets chirping (like on TV).
Comic intent intended or not, I love this piece. Up to your usual standards. take care...dan
