The most demanding parts are in real life; the best actors, everyday people. Street critics quickly sniff out bullshit and force faulty players off-stage. Out here, screen stars often become extras, while extras take top billing.
That "film of love" was just a bad gig for you, Jacob--didn't showcase your depth and versatility.

overacting in a movie is one thing, they have scissors to cut scenes, but in life that scissors means a bleeding heart... OUCH!! and in life, deep sadness.. even in the movies you break our hearts Jacob.
As an armature actor, I had to smile as I read this Jacob. I feel we are all guilty of this at times. At least I know I am. Maybe it is just a type of personality, but this happens far too often. Maybe we just need a better director. It can't be all the actor's fault, can it?. ha.
Great to read your thoughts here Jacob.

It is so tasty.
The lines of each actor stand alone in a field, no connection, no movement into the now of the moment. The scene loses itself to ego and two lovers part because of self's singular urge.
Ideally, being in a relationship should allow the partners to nurture each other and to grow together and not to make the other feel inadequate. But then, we don't live in ideal world. There will always be those self-entitled individuals who value more their pride, ego than the relationship.

Any good relationship has co-stars and no leading lady or leading man. The metaphor here is fantastic. Too often ego gets in the way of a good relationship. Lydi**
