a plaintiff's dream

a plaintiff's dream

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

a plaintiff's dream

i want to court you

sue for back sentiment

my lawyer thinks he can get me

a forever's worth

you are trying to play the system

but i just want us to have a life sentence

without chance of parole---

and more time added for impassioned behavior.

Good Luck!--once these matters go to court (especially, Family Court, which is no court, at all) most marriages have almost no chance of surviving. The "court" has a vested interest in pitting one spouse against the other. How else can these ambitious bureaucrats justify their miserable existence--and continue to reap financial benefits for themselves and their suck-a*s cronies--but by assuming control over every family member?
Apologize for the mini-rant, Jacob.
Your poem is lovely, clever and perceptive.

For some reason this evoked me to think of Lou Reed's Satellite of Love.

Being a judge in these matters I hereby sentence you to a full life of passion with occasional breaks for talking, laughing, listening and loving.

Court adjourned!

love grants freedom because it is already free...only the free can love, the needy go to court to plead (guilty)...clever language jacob

Ah, that last line is a killer, though sentencing guidelines rarely work that way.

I really like this one!

What can I do to get more time added for impassioned behaviour?
A sweet little piece, Jacob.
