I am not sure what I stepped into. Almost feels like there's a harsh shower and words are pouring down with the emotions as well. Sad really when what thought be such a good day ends up to be a bad prediction and things just don't go your way. Love can really be that harsh. Emotions which used to come as a downpour have become so scarce and parched, almost as if a famine has taken over. Then it's all about the frozen tundra and how you move poles apart from each other. Thank you for sharing This was really touching.

you are love's maestro jacob ... the metaphor is strong all the way through ... and the story sad and poignantly touching .... so many times those in the scene are blind and don't see it happening when even the weather men and women can predict it right ;) what stand out most for me is that the lovers hearts are melting away in different directions ... not frozen and locked up tight .. so they have a chance with love still ... at least thats the way i read it .. your gift with metaphors is remarkable ..a treat to read!

you are very kind, E.....thank you for your words,
There is a sadness in your metaphors. Great expectations - little return. But perhaps that's how we learn to accept the balance of nature. The depth of your poetry just softens the rawness of the situation.

Life is always full of surprises and even if we think passion will explode, it often fizzles. How you manage to create as much poetry as you do and always find just the right metaphor for your thoughts is so impressive. Lydi**

Well, could we be too smart for our own good?
I miss the days of opening the door and stepping out on the porch to find the weather.
(Use metaphor freely here).
I can imagine more than a few ladies reading this poetry and thinking how nice it would have been to build a snowman... Ha.
Oh dear what could be worse than cold kisses. Nothing worse than knowing someone is just going through the motion and you know there is no Emotion attached. I really hope things warm up quickly :)
do we ever see those cold fronts coming Jacob??? seems like in spite of storm warnings all we ever see is warm sunny skies until the snow, rain and cold slaps us in the face.. and here we are without a winter's jacket to bundle up in... brrrrr it's a bit chilly in this room Jacob, mind if I move on down to Fla, or someplace warm!! wanna join me? we can sit on the beach and pretend not to look at all the young women in bikinis walk by... they don't get snow down there, just a bit of hurricanes... lol
love your poetry Jacob
