Animosity

Animosity

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Animosity

livid sky,

torrential anger

tears of madness attack

in a flood of raining rancor

and we wonder,

what we did to displease her so.

A bad weather day in emotions. Edgy, crisp in its implications of anger while our friend wonder seek the plateau of understanding.

You are welcome. Saw the movie Race last night. Good flick!
Mother nature sure has a way to vent her frustrations. But then again we are to blame for creating them. I feel that there is another way of looking at it. Something tells me there is someone suffering and time is definitely needed for that someone to heal, but until then one bears all the antics he/she puts up, the latter still trying to figure what he/she/they did wrong. This is another way i see it.

thank you for your very kind words,

Floods of tears, faces of thunder, stormy outbursts. They are all there in your metaphorical inferences.
Or, have I read it the other way round.

she strikes were she will ...the wind blows and we know not from where it comes ... so the Bible says ... Mother Nature is as dispassionate as macadam ... and mobsters ... nothing personal ... just a bit of business ... strong personifications says i! paints a whole other picture than rosy sunsets and bursts of sunrise ... and as a person in relationship ..the eggs shells walked on can be more like pumice after the blow .. either way ..for men ....sad to say ... there is no understanding that will do ;}

Ahhh, I know I've been there.
My flimsy umbrella always proved thoroughly inadequate to the task.
But flowers sometimes did the trick.
I loved the metaphor.
