white flags and motives

white flags and motives

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

white flags and motives

spiteful influence

angry razor's voice

cut connections,

love because it's blood

but hate because the vein rebels

red becomes blue

reverse flow

no smiles,

just and old man in a chair

who can't see over the mountains

of monotonous militant personality

that dictates distance

then lengthens the virtue of her position

she considers just,

while he waits for the sky to open

then lays down his arms

and surrenders.

Ha... I think the mistake was to even attempt an argument with her...
A funny truth of life and relationships.

thank you..

We may never know the intent and motives of the people we dealt with. Perhaps it would be for our own peace of mind to accept things as they are.

perhaps, yes, gabrielle...

thank you for your words,

j.
Love lost, becomes distant and time passes. Forgiving is a part they left out of the phase time heals.
but sometimes... the memories are all thats left.
A lonely verse.

thank you for your words, bill.

Love bears many battle scars, particularly when it comes to family. When consumed with self, we often forget what love and forgiveness is truly all about. Sometimes the surrendering requires that we just let go and let be and hope they will return one day. If not, your greatest act of love was in letting them be.
