white flags and motivesA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
spiteful
influence angry razor's voice cut connections, love because it's blood but hate because the
vein rebels
red becomes blue reverse flow no smiles, just and old man in a
chair who can't see over the
mountains of monotonous militant
personality
that dictates distance then lengthens the
virtue of her position she considers just,
while he waits for the
sky to open then lays down his arms and surrenders.
