just before the stillness intercedes
A Poem by
jacob erin-cilberto
just before the stillness intercedes
hi top
forest,
redwood hats,
limbs bowed in
etiquette's rendering
courteous leaves trying
to silently weep
but the young grass
below
feels the aged tears
pond themselves
as floods of emotion
get lost in wooded
ambivalence
and suddenly,
the breeze tears itself
apart
trying to decide,
which way to fall.

And still somehow it always seems to have a way of working things out when the green returns in spring. Deep thoughts in this poem Jacob. Really well done.

Ah... ev'n the life's itself seemed like the "Stillness Of Ambivalence" that has no direction to be rendered neither any separate way to get directed. Very deep & evocative poetry. Liked d way u bleed in such "nature" words. Beautiful. Seemed, the flood that engulfed things around in some counties got ya inspired by its own intercedes. Not a bad shot. Great job!

'If a tree falls in a forest'... it's as if you took the classic brain-teaser and spun it into a beautiful poem. Great job!!! :-D

So many times in our lives we face life altering choices and which way that winds blows is often hard to feel.

I'm very impressed by your effortlessness in describing nature. You take a beautiful scene of nature and turn it into something more, for both the eye and mind. Well done!
