Too LongA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
in a
drawer of my heart, a keepsake thought of
you,
the blaze in your eyes on a silver chain of
memory
the charm never
tarnishes but that drawer gets awfully hard to open
in time when the tinder tenders resignation of
self.
