The organ's Tune

The organ's Tune

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

The organ's Tune

heart throb

heart throbs

throbs in affection,

throbs in longing

throbs in missing

and then in pain,

and the dull throb of ache

heart to heart

heart with heart

heart from heart

heart for you

heart with you

heart severed in two,

heart throb

heart throbs

heart sobs

without you to help it beat.

Like a pebble thrown in a stream, the reverberations are felt, effecting all within proximity. Your message does the same, Jacob!

thank you for your kind words, Kelly....

It aches in love and aches in loss. One a delight, the other torture. We move from one to the other, to and fro, aching too much to ever learn its lesson.
Superbly written Jacob. I think most can relate.
