Hum, a cup of coffee out today can cost a lot. Add all the special tastes and wham...up goes the price. Yet, with a good conversationalist alongside, it can be well worth it. Valentine

running, winded, but I got the coffee in hand.. sorry I'm a day late, did I miss the party Jacob...perhaps I need to drink more coffee..

well, the title could also be " Morning Coffee With Chris" since the inspiration is there and not with Starbucks.. coffee and inspiration, a dynamic duo with escape to another more peaceful planet... yes, dreams worth writing about Jacob...

Wow! Apparently, a strong blast of caffeine fosters fervent goodwill.
Have never been to Starbucks; will be going, soon.
I could use some of that hopeful camaraderie.
Great write, Jacob!

Reads like the perfect cup to me, good to the last drop. Nice use of imagery. Great poem.

Brilliant perspective Jacob. Left me wondering how perfect a plane, planet starbucks would be. Coffee shops are wonderful places to read, think or watch the world go by. I dont recall ever seeing violence or hatred erupt in a coffee shop either. Sign me up, I wanna live there.

Youare very welcome :)
One cup of coffee says to the other, "You are sweet". The other cup of coffee replies, "You are so full of spice. Are you a special drink for the holiday? The first cup of coffee invites the other to share some spice, and make everything nice, and that is how a Starbuck's dream of love is born. Quite a holiday setting at the table of holding cups, hands and hope! - a little sweetness, a little spice!
Clever my friend - nice inspiration too from the poem written by Chris!

of course...i will be drinking italian creme...that vanilla drink since i don't drink coffee.
I never have invited someone to "meet for coffee"... I can see the intrigue however.
"Holding hands" and "holding hope", are one in the same at times.

This one shimmers with warmth and sweetness, yeah Chris is a huge inspiration, The white chocolate mochas are addictive, I don't really care for Starbucks otherwise, it's just that one cuppa that calls to me.
