no Samaritan, just souls sold at auction

no Samaritan, just souls sold at auction

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

no Samaritan, just souls sold at auction

Black Friday, nailed to the cross

by material witnesses

can't buy freedom,

only amass more goods

to lead us from store to store

and then to a certain Calvary of the heart

a crucifixion of credit

from which there is no resurrection.

Very apt Jacob. They tried and suceeded bringing black friday over here last year, but it looks like sense prevailed this year and we all said as one, no thanks. One crazy year was enough to put us off.

Amen! Thankfully, I missed out on the shopping gene when the good Lord was handing them out. I have never, ever joined those crazy crowds and never will. There's not a single thing that I want that much and not enough savings to entice me out the door. No way, no how.

jacob, this is a stand up and applaud appreciation for stating the fact of the thing...the words carry the line in form and force perfectly--Calvary of the heart in deed...

Consumerism consumes. Americans need to be reminded of this over and over...I wonder when are they going to realize this...I am sorry if my tongue is too sharp, but there are truths - facts that we can never brush away.

Follow the money trail, the credit trail and the misery of people bought and sold lies. An excellent one , Jacob...:)................
